In 2017, a Task Force was created to carry out an unorthodox, cross-disciplinary research on income and social inequality in Latvia from the perspective of economic, financial, social, educational and health policymaking.

The research points to the most urgent problems, the population groups most affected by them, as well as provides recommendations for the improvement of policymaking in the above mentioned areas, with the necessary changes in legislation.
